Have you noticed how everyone online sounds so sure of themselves?

One mom passionately explains why screen time is destroying your child’s brain.
Another, equally confident, swears it saved her sanity.
Someone says to discipline more.
Someone else says never raise your voice.
You hear:
Be gentle. Be structured. Be present. Be productive. Be peaceful. Be real.
Be less. Be more.

It’s like standing in the middle of a thousand voices — all shouting in different directions — and they all make a compelling case.

And before you know it, you’re second-guessing everything:

  • “Am I doing this right?”

  • “Who do I listen to?”

  • “How do I know what’s true?”

The Reminder That Shifted Everything for Me

In the middle of this swirl of confusion, I remembered something my pastor’s wife said at a women’s Bible study:

“The more you read the Word, the more you understand God’s character.”

And that is what so many of us are missing — not because we don’t want truth, but because we’re just trying to survive.

We want wisdom.
We want clarity.
We want to do what’s right.
But with all the noise, it’s hard to know who to trust.

That’s why His voice matters more than ever.

Yes, God Understands This Season — But Don’t Tune Him Out

I used to think,

“God knows I’m in the thick of raising littles. He understands that I can’t do devotionals like I used to.”

And He does understand.

But understanding doesn’t mean we stop showing up. It just means it may look different in this season:

  • Listening to Scripture while folding laundry

  • Reading a few verses instead of a whole chapter

  • Opening your Bible with your kids during breakfast

Simple rhythms. Small deposits. Real connection.

Because if we’re not grounded in His truth, it becomes far too easy to be swayed by whatever voice is loudest — and that’s not just risky for us, it’s risky for our children too.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”John 10:27

You Can Hear God’s Voice — Even in the Chaos

If your heart has felt pulled in a thousand directions lately, you’re not alone.

But you don’t need another influencer telling you what to do.
You need to hear from the One who created you— and your children.

You can walk in wisdom.
You can parent with clarity.
You can quiet the noise and create a peace-filled home that reflects God’s truth.
